Dear Green Storm Families,
Hope all is well and everyone had a joyous Easter.
Please be advised that the Coaches from the St. John’s Kanty-Avengers (Clifton Avengers) have invited the Green Storm Volleyball program to a one-day free clinic at the St. John’s Canty gym in Clifton (37 Speer Ave.) on Wednesday, May 14th from 6:30 to 8:30. The program is open to students from the current 5th to 7th grade classes. The clinic will feature instructions from skilled players and coaches from the Avengers program including myself, as well as a few Green Storm volleyball Alumni players from the past few years. Clinic attendees will be given individualized instruction on proper form and technique, specific skill development and game strategy. Beginners will have the opportunity to learn the basics of the game and more advanced players will be able to perfect, correct and develop their skills. Athletes should wear gym attire, bring plenty
of water/sports drink and must have knee pads. Volleyball is a strenuous sport involving quick movements,
jumping and hard driven balls. Athletes should bring any medical devices such as, inhalers or knee/ankle braces. Parents should make the coaches aware of children’s known medical conditions at the
beginning of the clinic. Camp will focus on volleyball fundamentals and intense hands on training. The programs goal and ultimately the goal for Green Storm program is to develop student athletes
into complete volleyball players by focusing and enhancing both mental and physical skill set. All those interested should contact Green Storm Coach Paul Jarkowsky at [email protected] by Monday, May 12th 2014 or complete the form below. Clinic has limited spaces so act fast.
Thank You,
Coach Paul Jarkowsky
